Let's be honest for a minute. Airsoft gets expensive... and quick. But lucky for us, many companies are paving the way for new airsofters with their wallet in mind. Here's my list of top 5 affordable guns that are comparable to the top-of-the-line airsoft guns out there.
The AAP-01 - this sidearm is quite possibly one of the coolest airsoft pistols out there. While not the prettiest gun, once you shoot this pistol, you’ll understand why so many airsofters are trying to snag one. The AAP-01 costs about $100-$110, but the price is not the only great thing about this gun. It has a fun switch. That means this baby has a full-auto option. If you snag an M4 adaptor, you could easily run this gun as a primary. Also – if the looks bug you, there are plenty of body upgrades out there, including this guy:
GG Raider 2.0 - The Combat machine. This was honestly my first airsoft gun and I still rock it to this day. Out of the box, it comes with an ETU and MOSFET. That means you can program it with 3 round bursts. This airsoft replica is extremely reliable and will have you running it for years.
G&G ARP9- okay – hear me out. This is a little more expensive than the others on this list, but the reason it's on here is because of its customizability, the ETU, and MOSFET. Quite possibly one of my favorite CQB guns on the market today. Not only that, this ARP9 can easily be used outdoors, hitting targets at 200 feet. Want a little something special? The ARP9 also comes in several different colors including Fire (Red), Sky (Blue), Stealth Gold, and many more.
Lancer Tactical LT-02 – The LT-01 proline is a great gun for airsofters on a budget. The LT-02 has a full metal body, a great quad handguard rail system to add attachments such as a flashlight, PEQ box, or the grip and rail covers that come with the gun. But the coolest thing about these guns is that they have a MOSFET and a quick change spring that make it easy to change this from a CQB airsoft gun to an outdoor rifle.
CZ-P09 in Dark Earth is a fantastic gas blowback. With its lightweight polycarbonate construction, you can use this gun in the cold. Its an awesome sidearm to have in your arsenal that won't break the bank.
